The SOFO Summer Gala is around the corner and one of the most notable attendees of this year’s gala is the former First Lady of Florida, Carole Christ. The gala is an annual event set to take place on Saturday, 6th August 2022. It is organized by The South Fork Natural History Museum (SOFO) & Nature Center, which is the only state-of-the-art natural history museum on the South Fork of Long Island. The gala aims to raise money for environmental conservation and is considered the most exciting and important fundraiser of the year.

This being the 33rd Annual SOFO Gala, it is expected to be bigger and better. This year’s fundraiser aims to benefit SOFO’s educational and environmental programs and initiatives. It is expected to begin at around 6 pm, where there will be a VIP cocktail reception from 6 to 7 pm. After that, there will be other events like the benefit party, honoree presentations, dinner and dancing, which will run from 7 to 10 pm. The bar for this gala is set very high and the renowned Elegant Affairs Catering will handle all catering services. Designs for the event will be on Mark Masone. This is the place to be on 6th August.

This year’s gala will be graced by the former first lady of Florida, Carole Crist. She is also the founder of CLC Advisory and a big supporter of women in leadership and finance.
